Ymbertist Asgardianism

Skadi is a giantess and ex-wife of Njord.  She is a goddess of the snow, and wherever and whenever the snows fall become her domain. Though she is a goddess of the cold, she is not a cold goddess and is generous to her devout worshippers.

Dogma

Skadi's doctrines focus on self-reliance and determinism.  Her followers are taught to respect the mountains and all of the gifts to be gleaned from them.  

Clergy

Clergy who serve the Snow Goddess almost always pastor small churches in the Crystal Mountains, though during the winter season some travel throughout the rest of the Futhark towns.  During the warmer seasons, Skadi's clergy double as hunters, shepherds or miners.  Also, many use this time to tighten up the communities defences.  In summer, Skadi's clerics wear cassocks dyed an ice blue.  In winter, they don cloaks of ermine fur over theses cassocks.  Clerics in service to Skadi prefer to keep their churches cold and never start fires within.  Unlike other Asgardian churches, Skadi's churches are often built of stone instead of wood.  These churches often double as storehouses for the community.
