Uller is the untamed son of Sif and step-son to mighty Thor. He is the inventor of skis and the best archer among the Aesir. He married Skadi after her divorce from Njord.
Doctrines espoused by those who honor Uller are culled from his wild nature. Uller's followers are taught not to seek after the comforts of civilization; these make one soft. They are also taught to separate the weak from the herd, so that the herd may be stronger in the long run.
Uller's clergy don't bother themselves with the inhibiting cassock worn by most other Asgardian clergy and instead wear comfortable hunting clothes. They rarely ever hold formalized services, preferring to indoctrinate small groups of the faithful during a hike or a hunting trip. Churches staffed by Uller's clerics are located in remote areas away from the trappings of civilization. These "churches" function more as hunting lodges where travelers can pick up a good meal and some rest than places of worship, though proper courtesy and reverence for Uller is expected by visitors. |
