Vidar is one of Odin's sons, and is destined to slay Fenris for
killing Odin during Ragnarok. He is a deity of the deep forests, the wilds and solitude. He is strong, robust and never speaks.
Dogma
Those who follow the way of Vidar choose action over diplomacy. Words are but obstacles in the way of deeds. They believe
that vengeance is the only way to right some wrongs and they have an eye for an eye philosophy. They also believe in solitude as close personal relationships can interfere with one's revenge.
Clergy
Vidar's clerics rarely ever pastor churches. They live hermitic lives in
the deep forests until those who wish revenge on someone for an evil deed seek them out. Then they don their orange cassocks and venture out, returning only when they have meted out their righteous wrath
and vengeance has been had. During summer solstice, worshippers of Vidar gather together for a wolf hunt in honor of their deity's victory over Fenris. The goal during this hunt is to slay a wolf
for each act of vengeance completed over the last year and then burn the carcass on a pyre as a thanksgiving to Vidar.
