Aengus is a deity of courtly love, representing love as the highest virtue and conqueror of all. Unlike most deities of love, Aengus is not above using violence to
make sure romance comes out on top.
Dogma
Aengus teaches that love is the highest virtue and that love is to succeed at all
costs. Those that follow him are encouraged to fight against those who would seek to subvert love. The faithful among Aengus’ followers believe that love is capable of overcoming any evil.
Clergy
Clerics of Aengus wear robes of red, gold & silver.
They perform wedding ceremonies and counsel people in love. They will take up a crusade in the name of love and actively oppose those
who desire to break up a relationship. They
are expected to defend members of the opposite gender and guide lovers together.
Druids devoted to Aengus demonstrate a very natural form of love through their care for
animals and plants. They are tend to be gentle to visitors to their domain, but can turn vicious should anyone violate the sanctity of their realm with hateful acts.
