Cairbre is a skilled lyricist and musician. Though he is typically good-natured, he will not hesitate to compose a
scathing satire about those who offend him.
Dogma
Followers of Cairbre are taught that song is essential to the
preservation of their people’s history. They
also believe that music is a blessed gift to be used to praise the gods and
honor the ancestors. Cairbre’s
teachings regard music as a source of power and it acts as a balance against
those who abuse power of their own to inflict insult or injury upon another.
Clergy
Cairbre’s few clerics devote much of their time composing
hymns and leading people in worship and are usually seen dressed in robes of
blue and gold. They are responsible
for the ordination of bards and anoint new bards by sprinkling mead over their
heads.
Druids who have chosen Cairbre as their patron are rare but
are in tune with the natural rhythms and harmony of the world. They that make their sanctuaries in places of natural music, such as near
a bubbling brook or a wood where the wind whistles through the trees.
