Patience
and perseverance are the cornerstones of Dunatis’ teachings. He teaches his followers to take life slowly and that sudden change is
often disastrous. Those who worship
Dunatis rarely change their minds once decisions have been made. An oath made in the name of Dunatis is said to last for eternity.
Dunatis’
clergy wear utilitarian robes of brown and black, often accented with animal skins. They primarily minister to small communities in the mountains, providing
them with guidance and protection. His
clerics often perform mountain rescues and teach survival techniques to the
youth should they ever become lost in the harsh mountain environment. Dunatis’ Druids see nature as the only sure and true thing in life. Their sanctuaries are located in caves and stone piles mark their territory. These caves often lie behind waterfalls; Ogham writings and crude representations of events that have gone before adorn the walls. No few number of these sanctuaries also have veins of gold or silver running through them. Monks
who worship Dunatis are reserved in manner and speech, many taking oaths of silence. A monastery dedicated to
Dunatis is solidly built, sometimes into the mountains themselves. Their time is spent meditating on the nature of the mountain and they
practice a fighting style designed to improve their endurance in combat. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
