Lugh
expects his followers to be trained in a variety of areas; the very least of
which includes skill in combat and music, and knowledge of arcana, nature,
religion and spellcraft. They are
encouraged to have some ability in many other arts as well. Lugh’s followers are taught that by expanding one’s abilities, one
can shine as a member of society. Such
a person will always find someway to contribute and always have something to
pass on to others.
As
Lugh is an extremely popular deity, it is not uncommon to his blue and silver
robed clerics. These clerics are
expected to be pillars of the community and to set an example by their deeds. Druids
of Lugh are interested in the discovery of perfection in nature. They tend to be very knowledgeable, not only about the
natural realm, but also how everything relates to it. A Druid in service to Lugh may have a sanctuary nearly anywhere, but
wherever it is, it appears to be nature in perfection. Lugh’s monasteries are well-illuminated buildings. His monks perform a number of activities, from brewing ale to illuminating manuscripts. Through meditation on the nature and meaning of light, the monks focus on the perfection of body, mind and soul. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
